About Gus

Gardens, whether large or small, truly shine with the right design. Each garden presents its own unique challenges and opportunities. Let's discuss your ideas and wishes to ensure we address every aspect. We might uncover practical considerations you hadn’t thought of. After our brainstorming session, I will translate these fresh ideas into vibrant concepts. If further desired, I create a detailed design.

Gus' work

After graduating with a degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Management from International University Van Hall Larenstein, I spent four years working as a Landscape Designer. During this time, I was involved in every stage of the design process, from initial drafts to detailed masterplans, and all visualizations were created manually without the aid of 3D tools.

In 2023, I relocated from the Netherlands to Perth, Australia. Recently, I completed Horticulture III at South Metropolitan TAFE, where I gained knowledge of Australian flora and its growth patterns. I'm excited to incorporate this new knowledge and my passion for native plants into your garden design.

The space around your home is likely the place where you spend heaps of time, it definitely deserves some attention. I’m passionate about spatial challenges, and believe that every unique spot in the garden has a purpose. Listening closely to your wishes and collaborating to come up with solid, sustainable solutions is what I do best.

The internet is overflowing with inspiring images, but the trick is to filter these ideas and create a design that fits your garden and your environment. One that will last for years and withstand the unique Australian climate.
